It was nice to have a washer in the apartment, as well as a kitchenette. After two weeks in Spain, we were a bit tired of eating out at 30-40 euros a meal for basically rubbish. Ergo, having the kitchenette was both economical and gastronomical!
Although the apartment came with a washer, there was no dryer or drying rack (only given to me upon request). The European-style front-loaded wash machine had a booklet, which was written in only Spanish and I believe French (no English). Also, there was no laundry detergent; I had to buy it. The kitchenette did not have some basics like salt and pepper, olive oil and vinegar (for salads) that I would normally expect.

Assistance by hotel staff. Spacious accommodation.
Bed uncomfortable. Could not work the washing machine and there was no washing powder. No WiFi in the apartments.

The receiptionist at the Hostel where we collected the key from was superb. She assisted us with our needs and continued to show concern that we had what we wanted.

Location and comfort. Very useful to have a kitchen with 3 kids. Very good value. We arrived at 1.30 in the morning and there was someone there to give us the keys for the apartment.
Couldn't get the heating to work through the air conditioner, so it was cold; of course this is in important only in the Winter.

The apartment was first class the people at the hostel where you pick up the keys could not have been more helpful they walked us to the apartment and then to the parking we had a dog with us so the gave us a apartment with two terraces first class all round
driving is not easy in granada this is a tip put your sat nav to hotel carlos v there is public car parking under the hotel and you are no more than 150 yards from the hostel costa azul where you pick up the keys

To stay in a hotel or an apartment is a question of choose, with their vantages and disvantages. If your option is to stay in an apartment, Costa Azul is the right place. Everything is good, the apartment installation, the friendly people, etc. The localization is also very good.

Right in the middle of town, spacious for 2 couples + 1 child + 2 dogs Apartment at 4th floor was quiet, no sound from the street.
The kitchen very poorly equipped. The airconditioing seems to work from time to time, sometimes not. While rooms are clean, there is a bit of wear and tear. The pictures on the site and reality does not match completely.

Excellent location and apartments. They were very well appointed and clean in an amazing location in the heart of the city. The staff was incredibly helpful. There is a nearby parking garage if needed. We would definitely stay there again. We were four adults and two children with two apartments side by side- wonderful. Highly recommend.
